500 Global leads $1.5M funding round for Meals in Minutes

Meals In Minutes, a meal kit startup based in Malaysia, recently announced its successful seed funding round of $1.5M. The round was spearheaded by 500 Global, and was further boosted by contributions from an anonymous private investor.

  • Company Profile: Launched in the year 2020 and founded by Brandon Lim and Khiara Mia, Meals In Minutes is changing the concept of meal prep with its unique offering of vacuum-packed meals. These meals can be conveniently and quickly prepared in 15 minutes.

  • Product Features: The meals delivered by the startup stand out for their health-focused approach. They are flash-frozen, portioned individually, and completely devoid of genetically modified ingredients or artificial additives. The meals also carry HACCP and Halal certifications.

  • Funding Utilization Plans: The startup plans to use the newly secured capital primarily for research and development, intending to expand its product range. A part of the funds will also be dedicated towards marketing campaigns, aiming to strengthen its foothold in target markets, including the United Kingdom.

As of now, Meals In Minutes products can be found in Singapore on various online platforms. These include Grabmart, Shopee, RedMart, Amazon Fresh, and FairPrice Finest.
