Antler invests $2M in startups across Singapore and Indonesia

Singapore's early-stage venture capital firm, Antler, has recently committed an additional $2M to support 15 emerging startups in Singapore and Indonesia. This move follows a 10-week residency program that saw participation from over 150 founders from diverse fields.

• Funding Details: The recently backed startups were conceived and funded during the ten-week program, with each securing pre-seed funding of $125,000. Founders were able to develop and validate their business concepts with Antler’s expertise, providing a solid foundation for their enterprises.

• Some of the notable startups backed in this round include:

  • Bootloader Studios: This AI and mixed reality venture aims to enhance emotional well-being by fostering genuine emotional connections among individuals.

  • Optacloud: This startup offers machine learning-powered cloud optimisation, promising reduced cloud bills and minimised latency with zero engineering effort.

  • Trivium: A financial platform that simplifies the embedding of investment products for companies.

  • Siftee: This data and research marketplace allows users to search, verify, and download specific insights down to the metadata level.

  • Katalis: This is an end-to-end AI marketing toolbox tailored for e-commerce businesses.

  • Alter: A social networking and collaboration platform specifically designed for gamers.

  • Club Kyta: This startup offers an integrated omnichannel distribution solution for direct-to-consumer lifestyle brands, focusing on Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities in Indonesia.

  • Hazana: An integrated halal financing solution for platforms, marketplaces, and ecosystems.

  • Plans: A digital platform that provides fertility assistance for family planning.

  • Sqouts: A recruitment platform powered by conversational AI.
