Beep Expands Horizons with $3.3M Funding

Beep, a Singapore-based IoT startup, has raised $3.3 million in Pre-Series A funding to fuel its expansion into Thailand and Malaysia, capitalizing on the surging demand for electric vehicles (EVs) in Southeast Asia.

• Funding Success: Beep secured $3.3 million in funding led by Granite Asia, Farquhar VC, SUTD Venture Holdings, Wing Vasiksiri, and new investor M7 Ace Neo.

• Expansion into Thailand: The company has partnered with Sharge, Evolt, WHA Group, and EVme to provide connectivity for over 1,600 EV charging points in Thailand.

• Growth in Malaysia: Beep is working with KINETA and other operators to integrate Voltality’s platform, enhancing EV charging solutions across Malaysia.

• Future Expansion Plans: Beep is preparing to enter additional markets such as Indonesia and Vietnam in 2025, with guidance from new advisor Ming Maa, ex-Grab Group President.
