  • Funding News: Arkadiah, founded by ex-Grab Reuben Lai and Gerry Ong, announced the successful closure of a seed funding round. The round was spearheaded by Golden Gate Ventures and saw participation from The Radical Fund and Money Forward Venture Partners (HIRAC FUND). The exact funding amount remains undisclosed.

  • Business Model: Arkadiah aims to rejuvenate degraded lands through AI-enabled nature restoration. The company’s proprietary platform employs AI, LiDAR, and satellite imagery to provide transparent and verifiable data. It simplifies the implementation of nature-based climate solutions by digitizing the entire process for all stakeholders, enabling carbon removal and the creation of biodiversity-rich ecosystems.

To date, Arkadiah has implemented and is currently supporting over 15 pilot projects in Southeast Asia and Australia. These projects focus on pre-feasibility, feasibility studies, and digital carbon stock measurements.
