Lineaje Raises $20M in Series A to Secure Software Supply Chains

Software supply chain management startup Lineaje has announced a $20 million Series A funding round. This investment will be used to advance its AI technology, improve open-source software security, lower enterprise software maintenance costs, and expand its global reach.

  • Funding Purpose: The funds will be directed towards enhancing AI capabilities, improving software security measures, and supporting global business growth.

  • Investor Backing: The Series A round was co-led by Prosperity7 Ventures, Neotribe Ventures, and Hitachi Ventures, with additional participation from Tenable Ventures, Carahsoft, Wipro Ventures, SecureOctane, and Alumni Ventures.

  • Core Technology: Lineaje offers a continuous software supply chain security management service. Its technology maps out software components and their dependencies, ensuring the integrity of the supply chain and identifying vulnerabilities before they can be exploited.

  • Experienced Leadership: Co-founders Javed Hasan and Anand Revashetti bring significant cybersecurity experience from roles at Symantec, McAfee, and Norton.

  • Growth Plans: The Series A funding will enable Lineaje to expand its operations, including increasing its public sector client base and doubling its 30-employee team by year-end.

This funding will enable Lineaje to strengthen its software supply chain security solutions and expand its market presence.
