Qapita secures $17.2M pre-series B

Singapore's fintech scene just got a solid vote of confidence with Qapita's recent financing achievement. In what's likely a pre-Series B round, according to reports from DealStreetAsia, this startup has secured in $17.2M. This boost joins the $22.68M they've raised in 2020 and 2021.

  • Investor Line-Up: East Ventures, MassMutual Ventures Southeast Asia, and Cercano Management each threw in $3M.

  • Supporting Cast: The funding festivities didn't stop there. Nyca Partners, Citi, and Endiya Partners also participated, alongside contributions from Analog Partners.

  • Potential for Further Growth: Although the regulatory filings have been completed, indicating the equity-heavy nature of this venture, there are murmurs suggesting that this is just the beginning with the speculation of debt financing entering the fold.

Launched in 2019 by the trio of Ravi Ravulaparthi, Lakshman Gupta, and Vamsee Mohan, Qapita is on a mission to simplify equity management for companies far and wide.
