ROCX fund from Thailand and Israel launches with $50M

OurCrowd from Israel and Thailand's RISE, have launched a pioneering deep tech fund, the "Rise OurCrowd Exponential (ROCX) Fund".

With a capital of $50M, this fund represents a significant milestone as Thailand's first venture capital initiative with a focus on Israel.

  • Goal of the Fund? The ROCX Fund will concentrate on early-stage deep technology investments across various fields, such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI), health tech, and quantum computing, to name a few.

  • When does ROCX launch? Backed by a leading Thai institution and overseen by a team of venture capital experts from Thailand and Israel, the ROCX Fund aims to start investments by the end of 2024.

  • Funding Target? The fund aims to inject tens of millions of dollars into 20 to 30 companies within a period of two to three years.
