SG bookkeeping startup Bluesheets secures $6.5M led by Illuminate Financial

Bluesheets, a Singaporean bookkeeping automation platform, successfully secured $6.5M in a Series A funding round. Illuminate Financial led the round, with additional investments coming from returning investors Insignia Ventures Partners, Antler, and 1982 Ventures.

  • Automating Financial Data Processing: Launched in 2020, founded by Christian Schneider and Clare Leighton, Bluesheets is dedicated to aiding businesses with financial data processing through automated workflows. The platform's services can be integrated with over 100 different tools, including renowned names like Azure, Stripe, and Microsoft Dynamics.

  • Impressive Clientele and Revenue: As of mid-2022, Bluesheets boasts of over 10,000 corporate clients, which include prominent firms like Fidelis Capital, Guzman y Gomez, and Osome. The bookkeeping firm reported a revenue of $1.2M for 2023.

  • Previous Funding Rounds: According to Tech in Asia's database, the company has previously managed to raise at least $5.6M in disclosed funding rounds. Notably, Antler also invested in Bluesheets as a part of its fifth Singapore cohort in 2021.

With the fresh influx of capital, Bluesheets aims to further expand its product offerings and continue delivering efficient automated bookkeeping solutions.
