TollBit, a NYC-based company offering a real-time licensing solution for digital publishers, has raised $24 million in Series A funding to reshape how publishers monetize their content.
Funding Round: The round was led by Lightspeed and Section 32, with participation from notable investors Jeff Dean and Manuel Bronstein. Michael Mignano, Partner at Lightspeed, has also joined TollBit’s board to help drive its strategic growth.
TollBit's Solution: TollBit enables AI companies to license and pay for content in real-time, ensuring publishers get paid immediately for their content's use.
Partnerships and Onboarding: TollBit has already secured partnerships with over 200 publisher sites, including Penske Media Corporation, TIME, and ADWEEK.
TollBit is positioning itself as a leader in content monetization, ensuring publishers and content owners can capitalize on AI's growing demand for information.
